Here are some projects and events we've been envolved in.
MV Easter Egg Hunt
@ Placer Hills SchoolThe yearly egg hunt brings together children of all ages to seek out treats and build friendships. The Easter bunny generally makes an appearance as well.
Charitable Giving
Throughout the MV AreaMV Lions give to almost every charitable group in the Meadow Vista area. This includes the MV Friendly Neighbors, Sierra Reach Food Closet and many more.
Santa Comes to MV
In and around MVWeather it's in a parade around the streets of MV or sitting visiting with children in town; Santa never misses a visit to our small mountain town. (cookies and coco included)
Oktoberfest
@Sierra Pacific OfficeYearly event to bennifit the buiilding of the local community center, filled with drinking, eating, music and fun. Lions generally assist with food prep and service as well as some of the entertainment.
Road Cleanup
@Place Hills RdPlacer Hills Rd being the biggest and most well traveled road in MV means that it is also the dirtiest. Lions clean this stretch of road several times a year to keep the town looking tidy.

Us
The purpose of a Lions Club is more than good fellowship and club social life. It is to recognize community needs and develop means of meeting them, either through its own efforts or in cooperation with other agencies.
To encourage service-minded men and women to serve their community without personal rewards. Lions are men and women who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in their local and world communities. Lions work with individuals who have physical and mental disabilities and with community welfare agencies. By conducting service projects and raising funds, Lions strive to help those in need, wherever need exists. The Meadow Vista Are Lions Club provides a forum for open discussion of all matters of public interest. Our only restriction is that partisan politics and sectarian religion are not debated.
